Extension of the Suspension of Detention Period
As reported in the media, True Mother’s suspension of detention has been extended until 2:00 PM on May 30.
Before the April 28 court session, the judicial panel confirmed True Mother’s medical condition and expressed their intention that if treatment was not yet complete, an extension should be requested. In response, the defense team immediately submitted the prepared extension application.
The day before, on April 27, the defense submitted an additional opinion for the bail application, and on April 28, they also submitted a written statement explaining her absence. The documents detailed the progress of True Mother’s shoulder surgery and the opinions of the consulting specialists, clearly outlining the necessary future treatment and rehabilitation process, while earnestly conveying serious health concerns that could arise if she were returned to detention.
As a result, right after the court session at around 6:00 PM, the judicial panel approved a one-month extension of the suspension of detention. This is a gracious blessing from Heaven allowing True Mother to focus fully on her treatment, and a precious outcome achieved through the sincere devotion and prayers of all family members.
23rd Court Session: The Truth Revealed and False Claims Exposed
In this court session, the malicious claims that had been raised were proven groundless one by one through testimony and evidence. In particular, decisive testimonies emerged that proved the falsehood of Yoon Young-ho’s claims.
First, it was confirmed that the so-called “morning assembly” and “gratitude phone call” on March 10, 2022, never took place. Yoon Young-ho had claimed that on the morning after the presidential election, at 7:00 AM during the morning assembly, he received a call from Rep. Kwon Seong-dong and conveyed gratitude to Mother. However, multiple testimonies and records confirmed that no morning assembly was held that day. Yoon Young-ho’s own diary showed he woke up at 9:30 AM, clearly proving his claim of receiving a call at 7:00 AM was false. Furthermore, Cheon Jeong Gung gate access records showing that Yoon Young-ho entered at 9:42 AM on March 10 were additionally submitted as evidence, raising further doubts about the credibility of his claims.
Second, regarding the “Special Report” document that has been repeatedly cited as key evidence, a witness testified, “I have never seen him bring and report anything during the morning assembly.” Contrary to claims that important matters including the budget were reported on A3 printed boards, the witness stated, “I have never seen any printed documents with detailed information such as the budget. The A3 boards used for reporting only contained event routes and images, and had nothing to do with the budget.”
Third, testimonies emerged refuting claims related to gifts and fund execution. There was no directive from True Mother regarding payments to the so-called “Geonjin Beopsa” or the purchase of specific luxury items (such as a Graff necklace). The witness stated, “I have never heard such instructions from Mother,” and added, “Mother always chooses gifts herself and never asks others to purchase them on her behalf,” thereby confirming that True Mother gave no illegal directives.
Fourth, it was revealed that the special gathering, which had been claimed to show support for a particular political party, was in fact unrelated to politics. The special event held at Lotte Hotel on March 2, 2022, was prepared by the hotel as a gesture of gratitude for the World Summit. Testimony confirmed that True Mother’s message that day had nothing to do with supporting any specific party or politician.
In this way, through the court proceedings, various facts are being confirmed one by one, and the trial is progressing based on concrete evidence and testimony. What is important is that the truth always reveals itself. Rather than anxiously judging the outcome, we must calmly watch as everything becomes clearly revealed through the judicial process.
A Spring-Filled Holy Marriage Anniversary

True Mother has a special love for spring. It is because this is the season of True Parents’ Holy Marriage Anniversary. May 2 is a meaningful day that marks the 66th Holy Marriage Anniversary and the 1st anniversary of the Cheon Won Gung entrance ceremony. We are grateful that we can celebrate this precious day during the extended period of suspension of detention. Although it is not complete freedom, we hope this news brings you small comfort and relief.
On April 25, True Mother expressed her concern for the Japanese family members, saying, “I trust the Japanese family. I know their faithful hearts and devotion as they follow even in the midst of difficulties. I love you all.” Even in hardship, she does not worry about herself but seeks only to comfort and encourage us. We could deeply feel True Mother’s great love.
True Mother always looks first to the Will of Heavenly Parent in any situation and continues to guide us. As we approach the Holy Marriage Anniversary, I pray that all family members will renew the mission contained in the Words and deeply engrave True Mother’s love and heart in your hearts, becoming true children of Heaven.
